Eddie Cullen is a leader of innovation, technology entrepreneur and former New York Times leading candidate for New York City Mayor. With more than 15 years’ experience of innovation & enterprise-level research and development experience working with: fortune 500 companies, non-profits, start-ups, institutions and infrastructure organizations. From President Biden’s campaign to running for Mayor, Eddie’s experience with public-private partnerships, local, regional and national policy, campaign management, and technology leadership equips him with the hands-on experience and forward-thinking vision needed to spearhead Crescite. Eddie’s awarded scholarship for his Masters in International Business and Policy at Georgetown University, his founding of multiple technology companies, and public sector experience drives the vision for Crescite Innovation Corporation.

First General Counsel of Bloomberg LP, building a global legal department and pioneering data aggregation, analytics, electronic trading, and multimedia content development and distribution during 22 years at Bloomberg. Founder and Chairman of Fordham University School of Law Entrepreneurial Law Advisory Council, teaching Entrepreneurial Law. Tech founder and adviser specializing in multimedia content, cybersecurity, identity verification, and sustainability.

Brendan Burgess

CFO

As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in the State of New York, Brendan brings over a decade of experience in accounting, finance, operations, and executive leadership. At Metropolitan Commercial Bank, he served as a senior member of the Finance and Accounting Departments where he was a driving force behind streamlining and automating processes, increasing performance, and improving efficiency. While working as a CPA for EisnerAmper LLP, he managed income projections, valuation calculations, tax planning, and the audit of financial statements. He earned a Master of Science in Accounting from Saint Peter’s University, and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Providence College. Additionally, he serves in the National Guard 69 Infantry Unit in New York City where he is an IT Specialist. He brings his stewardship, attention to detail, and leadership to Crescite’s mission.

Dana Farbo has been innovating in digital for over 20 years and is constantly looking at how the interoperability of things can lead to a better world. His early work in digital marketing led to breakthroughs in dynamic messaging and advanced personalization. His firm was a pioneer in augmented reality and mobile location-based-services. As a Founder of several successful companies, Dana has learned what it takes to build a solid team and profitable business. With NexBloc, he has teams around the world creating the next generation data management environments where decentralized (Web3) systems and centralized (Web2) systems work in harmony. Dana has written a best-selling book on online marketing, was an Adjunct Professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and lead the world’s largest augmented reality meetup, AWE NYC.

Ronald Mitchell brings a wealth of hands-on Web3 strategy and implementation experience. A true XDC Ecosystem veteran turned community liaison, he played a pivotal role in establishing growth and adoption of the network by leveraging his more than a decade of experience in Corporate Leadership. Hugely passionate about decentralization, blockchain technology and the bright opportunities for the future they hold, he has worked alongside the XDC Founders and Ecosystem Development Team to integrate key stakeholders both up and down the value chain; from exchanges to wallets, and beyond. Now the Founder of The Mitchell Group PR, Ronald resides in crypto-friendly Puerto Rico with his family and continues to explore Web3 entrepreneurship while maintaining his XDC Network validator node along with many others for Layer 2 project nodes, including Plugin.

Rick Tapia

Rick Tapia is an advisor, international keynote speaker, and thought leader in the blockchain and digital asset space. As an entrepreneur himself, he has successfully helped a number of blockchain-based businesses find success since 2016. As a firm believer in blockchain technology, Rick is a founding member of the Blockchain Law Alliance, an organization dedicated to bridging the educational gap between blockchain technology and the legal realm.

Kurt Mahoney

Executive VP, New Business Development

Kurt has 25+ years of experience in financial advisory services, private equity, and strategic consulting. He is a partner at Broadline Capital, which has invested $293m with an exit value of $937m resulting in a 3.2x multiple. He is the President of SGI Global Advisors, President of Toros Entertainment Fund, and CEO of Trilogy Sports Marketing. Kurt has a Bachelor of Arts in History and Economics from Columbia University in New York City. He was an NCAA Division 1 Basketball player where he received All-Ivy team recognition.

Farzad Pezeshkpour

Farzad Pezeshkpour is the CTO of BCB Group. Since 2001, he has served in multiple roles across major tier 1 investment banks, including the platform architect and technical lead for the FX Options platform at NatWest Markets, Head of Credit Risk IT at Deutsche Bank and Head of Engineering for Risk at NatWest. He has been working with DLTs since 2014 – including Ripple, Ethereum and Corda. Notably, he is a key contributor to the Corda open source project. For his contributions and achievements in his career, he was awarded the title of Distinguished Engineer at NatWest.
